Skewed Facts and Falsehoods About Israel Are Beyond Comprehension

These days, when one wakes up, it isn’t easy to feel a ray of hope. My email is full of messages from people worldwide, sending me articles, videos, and copies of X tweets about the war in Israel. These little nuggets of intelligent falsehoods are usually so skewed and so factually incorrect I can only wonder at the armchair commenters who produce them.

Even on Substack, the lies are written and passed out with such shameless audacity it still astounds me. Most of these writers, and I am not referring to the trolls, pick through questionable news sources to prove that Israel deserves what has happened to it.

In previous posts here on Substack, I have repeatedly shown what is happening here. Here, meaning here in Israel. As an American, an Israeli, and a Jew.

The depressing aspect of all this is that it must be repeated daily. When I woke up today, an incredible amount of emails and WhatsApp messages were waiting for me, all dealing with sharing news, writing, videos of protesters, and all the rest. The one email that did get to me came from

, as a suggested read., and the title of it, “When it Comes to Palestine - Free Speech is Under Threat,” caught my eye for obvious reasons. No, there will be no links to that article here, though here is the newsletter by this genius,

David Farrier

, who describes himself as a journalist and a documentary maker. The journalist part does not surprise me, but the world is doomed if this person is making documentaries. It was so full of disinformation that it sounded like Goebbels wrote it. I just shook my head in despair. The trope that this guy is pushing is unbelievable and just plain wrong if he does not do it out of pure antisemitism.

Let us try to put a few things in perspective—one small thing at a time.

• I have no idea who among you have ever been in Israel. However, it is a fact that not only does free speech exist for all here, but there are even members in the Israeli parliament who are Palestinians calling for the end of Zionism and a Jewish State. They sit in their seats as members of the Israeli parliament.

• Free speech is allowed in Israel all over. It is just as ingrained in our law and ethos as it once was in the US. Free speech is alive and well in Israel. Not in Gaza. Not in any Arab country. But in Israel, it is.

• The way Hamas knew precisely where to go on October 7 was because we allowed thousands and thousands of Gazans to work in Israel every day. While they were working and getting paid for their work, because back in Gaza, Hamas stole every dollar for themselves, they made maps and brought them back to Hamas.

• Since this writer of the above-mentioned Substack piece, along with tens of thousands of sympathizers for Hamas and all the BBC journalists, seem to have a skewed worldview of what is going on, I suggest you take 43 minutes of your precious time and watch the video taken from the GoPro cameras of the Hamas animals that entered Israel and massacred 1400 people. I know, I know. Forty-three minutes is too precious to take away from reading and watching YouTube. But I promise. You will never, ever, ever be the same person after watching it.

  • Straight and to the point - Let us be clear about what Israel went through.
    Simultaneously, by way of bursting through the border fence and flying over it, they attacked many areas.

    • They came in on their hand gliders and trucks (again, the drivers were guided by maps created by those Gazans who needed work and a salary, and we let them have it). They landed in the middle of a peace concert and summarily shot, raped, murdered, burned, and tore limbs off of people - both alive and dead.
      Since everyone loves quoting here, let us quote from many witnesses. Here is the report from the Jerusalem Post, which was picked up and verified by almost all press (except, of course, the BBC.)

      Journalist Jotam Confino describes what he saw and heard on X (formerly Twitter).

      “Two dead women lying on the grass at musical festival – both with no pants on. One has her panties taken half off. The other doesn’t appear to have any on at all. 

      “Eyewitness describing how she saw a woman being raped by several Hamas terrorists, pulling her hair as they raped her and took turns. One of them cut her breasts off – the others played with them like a toy. The last terrorist to rape her shot her in the head and continued to rape her until he finished. Eyewitness also says some terrorists were carrying heads in their hands (beheaded) as trophies, saying there wasn’t a thing they didn’t do to the heads. She also saw a Hamas terrorist carrying a naked girl over his shoulder. 

    The failure of the #metoo movement, and many others, is shown in its brazen glory here. And below is the article which exposes all the facts.

    

• There is ample evidence on Hamas GoPro cameras for this and enough witnesses to drown the US Supreme Court in paperwork for years.

• They went into the Kibbutzim, and this is what they did. It is time to be authentic and graphic—no more stops.

  • Hamas tied up children and parents together and then murdered the children in front of their parents or the parents in front of their children.

  • Hamas raped both live and dead women.

  • Hamas ripped open, with a knife, the belly of an 8-month pregnant woman while she was alive and took the fetus out.

  • Hamas put a baby in an oven and summarily cooked it to death.

  • Hamas burned people in their homes. Not only out of their homes but burned them while they were in their houses.

  • Hamas beheaded, yes, beheaded babies with swords and left them in a pile to be found later. But they also attempted to burn this pile of dead babies. Just because.

  • Hamas came to Israel in their Toyota trucks, armed for a war. These were not crazed nuts with no plan, like those who shot up schools, malls, and bars in the US. This was a planned, calculated attack.

  • Then Hamas grabbed these women, children, elderly, infirm, and yes, men and soldiers as well, and took them back to Gaza.

So Let Me Ask - What Would You Do?

I wish it ended there. You cIsrael’sgue about the hostages; that is worldwide news, night after night. Perhaps you take glee in Israel’s position at the moment, but that will come to a stop very soon.

I cannot take the space now to write up every horror story of those in captivity. The time will come for that Newsletter and Podcast.

But here is a leader. One family, the “Bibas” family, with a 9-month-old baby, a 4-year-old son, and the mother, were murdered in Gaza by Hamas-and this coming from Hamas themselves! As they refused to return them.

So Let Me Ask - What Would You Do If That Were Your Wife, Mother, Friend Or Neighbor?

Where does your tripe about comparing terrorists locked up after they committed acts which ended in death or wounding of others with these civilians?

How does a mind work that equates the two?

It reminds me of the ludicrous, non-sensical sign coming out of the WOKE movement: “Queers for Palestine.” What being queer or part of the LGBTQ movement has anything to do with Palestine, and pushing Jews into the sea, or gassing Jews, is beyond understanding.

Try being part of the LGBTQ movement in Gaza. I dare you! I want to buy a GoPro for that so I can record the reception you get.

Seriously, just with the little written about what happened to us on and since October 7, leaving out the schools, universities, and terrorist attacks in Israel, 9000 missiles lobbed into Israel since Oct. 7th-leaving all that out:

I will finish with this. If anyone thinks for one moment that this ends with Israel and the Jews, and you live in the US or EU or UK, think again. You are the infidel. If you don’t understand that fundamental belief, you should not write, comment, tweet, post on Instagram, write articles or anything else about this war.
